One of the challenges of driving though, is ensuring your car is well serviced and also finding cheap parking.  Although free parking is better than cheap parking, the announcement of free roadside parking in KL until Merdeka Day is not confirmed. So, we will take a look at where the cheap parking spots in KL are instead!

Avenue K Shopping Mall

Avenue K

Avenue K is the mall opposite KLCC and the Four Seasons Hotel on Jalan Ampang. It has an underground passage to KLCC, and an LRT station. So, if you want to take the LRT somewhere after parking the car you can do so with ease. You have a lot of choices on what to do ranging from good food to breakout rooms.

Mondays – Saturdays
First hour – RM 3.00
Every subsequent hour – RM 3.00
Flat rate (6pm – 5:30am) – RM 8.00 / entry

Sundays & Public Holidays
First 3 hours – RM 4.00
Every subsequent hour – RM 3.00

This comes to RM12 for four hours from Monday to Saturday between 5:30 am and 6pm, and RM15 on Sundays and public holidays.

Fahrenheit 88

Fahrenheit 88 has cheap parking

Located opposite Pavilion, Fahrenheit 88 a mall of decent size with cheap parking that opened in 2010. Not only is the parking cheap, you are within walking distance of Pavilion, Lot 10 and other malls on Jalan Bukit Bintang.

Monday to Friday
First Hour – RM 5.00
Every subsequent hour – RM 2.00
Flat rate (5pm – 7am) – RM 6.00 / entry

Weekends and Public Holidays
First Three Hours – RM 7.00
Every subsequent hour – RM 2.00

Parking there costs RM10 if you park for four hours. So for the low price of RM10 on weekdays and RM13 on weekends, you can go to Pavilion to shop and have a meal, or go between Pavilion and Lot 10. You can even take the Bukit Bintang Walkway and stop by KLCC!

Sungei Wang Plaza

Sungei Wang Plaza, cheapest parking in KL

Located in Bukit Bintang, the mall first opened its doors in 1977, making it quite old. Despite its age, it is still going strong. Boasting a variety of food and beverage outlets as well as beauty services, you could spend your whole day there taking care of yourself.

Every subsequent hour RM1.00

Weekends and Public Holidays
First 2 hours RM 4.00
Every subsequent hour RM2.00

Even with these low prices, the management offers free parking (as of 5th Aug 2021) so long as you bring a receipt to the information counter on the concourse floor. So all you need to do to get two hours of free parking is to visit one of the many stores and spend!
