The Porsche Panamera Turbo S has now received further updates to boost performance. It’s new the top-of-the-range Panamera with maximum output of 630 PS, replacing the Turbo. Another new Panamera is the Panamera 4S E-Hybrid with a new drive system to boost output up to 560 PS, Furthermore, the Panamera 4S E-Hybrid has an expanded distance range of 30 percent compared to the previous version. At the same time, comfort and sportiness both benefit from enhanced chassis components and control systems in combination with the new-generation steering control and tyres.

 

The updated Porsche Panamera line comprises the Turbo S, GTS, 4S, 4 and base variants, as well as the 4S E-Hybrid and Sport Turismo versions.  

 

The Panamera’s appealing factor

Across the Panamera line, they’ve stretched the wheelbase for a better fitting of the drive system. In looks, All Panameras ae decked in Sport Design (previously an option), consisting new air intake grilles, large side cooling openings and a single-bar front light module like the 911. The rear has a new one-piece light strip and refreshed LED light clusters. The Turbo S has larger air intakes and more additional exterior goodies. The Panamera GTS has darkened Exclusive Design rear light clusters as standard with dynamic coming/leaving home function.

 

The entire line-up now comes with three new 20- and 21-inch wheels, for a grand total of 10 choices.

 

A Jacked-up Panamera Turbo S

The Panamera Turbo S has a jacked-up power output of 630PS and maximum torque of 820 Nm, that’s 80 PS and 50 Nm more than the previous version. How did they accomplish this? The answer lies with an overhauled V8 bi-turbo engine, which assist to push top speed of 315 km/h. The new Turbo S does 0 – 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds.

 

In addition, the updated Panamera Turbo S gets a three-chamber air suspension to ensure an amazing ride, Other highlights include Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), Roll Stabilization system and Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control Sport with Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus.

 

Another Panamera to get a power upgrade is the Panamera GTS, while the Panamera 4 and Panamera base model receive the standard 330 PS/450Nm 2.9-liter V6 bi-turbo across all markets.

 

Panamera 4S E-Hybrid

The 4S E-Hybrid’s intelligent combination of the 136 PS electric motor is integrated into the eight-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission and the 2.9-liter V6 biturbo engine with 440 PS. It generates a system output of 560 PS and a maximum  torque of 750 Nm.  Combined with the standard Sport Chrono Package, the sprint from 0 – 100 km/h is covered in 3.7 seconds. The top speed is 298 km/h. The gross battery capacity has been increased from 14.1 to 17.9 kWh compared with the previous hybrid models using optimized cells and the driving modes have been optimized for even more efficient energy utilization. The 4S E-Hybrid has an all-electric range of up to 64 km (NEDC).
