National car makers Perodua has introduced the facelifted Bezza to usher in 2020. Perodua expects some 5,600 units in sales of this updated Bezza from the get go. The model has already accumulated 184,000 units since it came out.
The Bezza, the first compact sedan by Perodua, has been gifted a smart design and innovative equipment to boost overall appeal. At a price range between RM34,580 to RM49,980, the 2020 Bezza comes in four variants; 1.0 G MT, 1.0 G AT, 1.3 X AT and 1.3 AV AT.
As usual, the new updates see the Bezza takes up sleeker LED headligts, two-tone side skirts and a reworked rear bumper. These are standard across the line-up. For the 1.3 versions, they’ve added 15-inch 10-spoke wheels to make It extra appealing. If that’s not enough, you could always Gear Up with a dynamic body, light guides and rear spoiler for an extra RM2,000.
Inside, the compact sedan now has white-illuminated gauges insread of the tired ol’ orange lighting. They’ve added keyless entry & start and front corner sensors, only for the 1.3l versions. Standard equipment for the 2020 Bezza are the power-adjustable side mirrors and reverse sensors. The top-of-the-line Bezza AV has a reverse camera and retractable side mirrors.
On safety features, Perodua has bumped up the Safety Assist 2.0 suite. This is reserved only for the Bezza AV variant. The suite consists of Pedestrian Detection, Pre-Collision Warning, Pre-Collision Braking, Front Departure Alert and Pedal Misoperation Control. Meantime, Vehicle Stability Control and traction control are available with the Bezza X (the Bezza AV has it as well).
The 2020 Perodua Bezza comes in two new body colors: Garnet Red (only 1.3 liter variants) and Granite Grey. The existing palette includes Ivory White, Glittering Silver, Ocean Blue and Sugar Brown.
