Malaysia has its very first Digital Car Buying & Subscription platform, courtesy of Renault Malaysia. Known as the Renault E-Store, customers can now buy or subscribe Renaults online. This is the first e-commerce initiative in the local automotive industry.

The E-Store along with GoCar app allow people to buy online and subscribe or rent a car, without having to visit a showroom. The E-Store by Renault even allows a user to arrange for test drives and take delivery of a new car. With the GoCar app, a customer can request to test drive a Renault Captur for 3 hours, without a sales person. This unique test drive experience is available at more than 250 locations nationwide.

Although it might take a while before Malaysians become accustomed to the idea of buying cars online, but it’s only a matter of time before it becomes a norm. Buying online has been as normal as breathing, these days.

Buying from the e-store by Renault is as easy as 1-2-3 by following some simple steps:

  • Logon to www.renault.com.my
  • select the Renault model and colour of their choice
  • make the booking fee payment
  • submit the necessary documents
  • submit trade-in valuation details
  • provide bank loan preferences
  • view the status of their new vehicle
  • indicate preference of collection be it from a Renault showroom or delivery to location of choice (at an additional fee)

To ensure optimal convenience for customers, dedicated Renault agents are on hand to guide them through every step of the process.

If owning a new car isn’t your plan, consider the subscription package for a Renault. The Renault subscription introduced  last year allows customers to pay a monthly fee to rent a new Renault for a contracted duration. There’s a switch plan for the Renault subscription where customers can request and manage their Switch vehicles online. The Subscription Switch Plan offers total flexibility and offers users to switch between Renault models depending on the customer’s needs.

Renault’s current line-up of vehicles in Malaysia include the Megane R.S. 280 Cup, the Koleos SUV and the Captur compact SUV.

For a limited time, the first 50 customers who purchase from the e-store get the ‘Buy One, Get One Free’ offer. Each of these early bird online customers will receive a free six-month subscription for a Captur compact SUV. The subscriptions are transferable within family members.
