The Ford Mustang55 Special Edition has been announced to commemorate the Mustang’s 55th Anniversary.

To give it a special edition touch, the 55 has two body styles; fastback and convertible. It’s got black, dissolve-effect stripes for the low-profile bonnet and lower body sides, and a black painted roof for fastbacks.  This goes well with the gloss-black 19-inch alloy wheels. Up top, the Mustang55 Shadow Black variants got silver stripes, and convertibles take up a black cloth roof. A rear spoiler comes as an option.

The front-end’s got two-tone black grille with the famous Pony emblem. The front wing comes in Red, while the boot-lid spoiler is in black (optional).

Inside, the Mustang55 special edition, standard equipment include heated front seats, Ford SYNC 3, Premium 12-speaker B&O Sound System and FordPass Connect onboard modem.

Decked with a 450 PS 5.0-liter V8, the Mustang55 is equipped with Ford’s six-speed manual gearbox with a unique moulded gear-shift knob. The 10-speed automatic Mustang has a unique alloy metal gear-shift knob.

The Ford Mustang55 is offered in these colors: Twister Orange, Grabber Lime, Iconic Silver and Lucid Red. This special edition along with the 2.3EcoBoost version hit the market in August.
