Ford’s local representative Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC) has introduced a ‘Digital Salesperson’ Whatsapp chat for customers. This live chat line is meant for customer queries relating to vehicle purchases. It starts today until 30 June, with a possible extension.
This chat line is created in response to the current Movement Control Order (MCO), which lasts until 14 April. It serves as an alternative method to allow customers to interact with Ford sales personnel. As MCO is enforced, all Ford showrooms across the country are closed so customers are advised to get connected with the chat line. This chat line seeks to address product related queries as well as on any ongoing sales promotions.
How it works?
To get connected, just retrieve and save the chat line number 6019-204 1200. Once connected to a Ford authorized salesperson, customers would be able to be informed on the colour and stock availability, in-showroom promotions, loan financing options, road tax and vehicle registration fees and insurance options. In addition, customers would be able to transact at their own convenience and pay the deposits, and take advantage of upcoming festive promotions. Upon the lifting of the MCO, the sales order and loan documents can be signed and processed.

After the MCO clears, Ford SDAC welcomes all customers to their flagship showroom located at the Sime Darby Motors City in Ara Damansara. Of course, Ford showrooms are spread across the country. Prior to the MCO, all Ford showrooms have taken necessary measures to ensure the health and safety of our staff and visitors which includes, practicing social distancing. At certain showrooms, customers are required to perform temperatures checks and hand sanitizers are readily available, as well.
The Ford chat line is available to assist customers from 9am – 4pm, Monday – Friday. Customers simply need to WhatsApp +6019-204 1200 to start chatting where queries will be attended to within 24 hours.
