In latest collaboration between Lamborghini and ABT, the choice is a Lamborghini Urus, powered by ABT Sportsline, to push up to 710 hp and 910 Nm. This was the first collaboration between the two, It also happens because Lamborghini is part of the Audi and VW empire and the Raging Bull is the Group’s  sportiest marque.

With Lambo as part of the VW family, it’s only a matter of time before they convert a Lambo model into an extraordinary powerhorse. The Lambo Urus ABT came about as a result. This beefed-up SUV hits 305 km/h (189.5 mph) without even flinching.

Under the hood, the Lambo Urus ABT comes standard with a V8 bi-turbo engine, with a stock power output of 650 hp (478 kW) and a maximum torque of 850 Nm. As ABT Power’s high-tech engine control unit is inserted, power is pushed up by 60 hp and torque goes up by another 60 Nm.

For this creation, ABT pays homage to the legendary Lamborghini Countach LP400S V12, the winner in many a game of ‘Top Trumps’ and  considered pretty much unbeatable during the 80s. Nevertheless, its 375 hp is merely half that of today’s ABT Sportsline-optimized Urus.

Despite its heavier weight, the Lambo Urus is also considerably faster, with acceleration comparable to modern sports cars such as the brand-new Porsche 911 Carrera S. After the performance upgrade by the world’s largest tuning provider for vehicles from the VW and Audi Group, the Urus now sprints from 0 – 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds (0-60 mph in 3.4s). The standard Urus goes from standstill to century mark in 3.6s.

Finally, the Lamborghini Urus’ typical engine sound and massive performance, boosted by ABT Sportsline, come together brilliantly.

About ABT Sportsline

An upgrade is tailor-made for each vehicle type and meticulously tested. This also includes gathering data via a state-of-the-art, reference-class dynamometer.
