First public appearance for the New BMW X2, X4 and X5

Since its unveiling not too long ago, BMW Malaysia will be organizing the BMW Choose Your World Roadtour to showcase the New X2, X4 and X5, alongside the X1 and X3 as well. The public will get a chance to get up close and personal with their favorite BMW SAV during the roadtour at the Outdoor carpark in Desa Parkcity from 21- 23 June, between 10 am until 7 pm.  BMW will allocate a test drive session for the X1, X3 and New X4 at the roadtour.

Besides the cars, there’re fun-filled activities for the entire family like fitness games, a BMW Lifestyle Merchandise pop-up store and stunt performances.

CHOOSE YOUR SAV

The BMW X2, locally-assembled X4 and X5 were the highlights at a preview show held by BMW Malaysia before the festive break.

The refreshed BMW X2 starts off with a new front grille in Cerium Grey, redesigned side air inlets and side mirrors in Cerium Grey, along with an M rear spoiler, double M Sport exhausts with silencer and two-tone 20-inch wheels. On the inside, the M steering is paired to Aluminium Hexagon Anthracite trims, Dakota seats and “M35i” insignia at the door panels. For entertainment and infotainment purposes, Harman Kardon 12-Speaker sound system with Navigation Plus on an 8.8-inch touchscreen is there to suffice the driver and passengers.

The X2’s 2.0-liter bi-turbo, with an 8-speed Steptronic gearbox, pumps an impressive 306 hp and a max torque of 450Nm.

The New X4 is a Star in the making, highlighted by a long bonnet, low windscreen with acoustic glass and a coupe-style roofline. The profile looks athletic as you glanced along the shoulder lines to the wrap-around rearlights. Interior-wise, the cockpit has a steering with launch control, a 10.25-inch touchscree and a huge 12.3-inch instrument display with Black-Panel Technology.

The X4 is instilled a 2.0l bi-turbo to churn 252hp with a peak torque of 350 Nm. And due to a ligther frame and inclusion of the xDrive all-wheel drive with adaptive suspension, the X4 offers agility and dynamic handling.

BMW X5: THE BIG DADDY OF THEM ALL

Probably the most recognizable BMW of all-time, the X5 is really the Boss in the brand’s SAV line-up.

For 2019, the X5 gets a sculpted bonnet, shorter front overhangs, slimmer adaptive LED headlights, 3-D wrap-around LED rearlights and  large  rectangular exhausts, as well as 20-inch wheels. Its sporty M demeanor is further enhancd by M Sport brakes in dark blue paint finish. It gets better inside with Vernasca Leather upholstery, ambient lighting, panoramic glass roof and an electric tailgate. Then, there’s the BMW Live Cockpit, a 12.3-inch touchscreen instrument cluster, BMW ConnectedDrive and a heads-up display in color.

The X5 churns 340 hp from its mighty 3.0–liter six-cylinder, bi-turbo with 8-speed Steptronic transmission.

Equipped with a double-wishbone front suspension and five-link rear suspension with Adaptive M Suspension, the 2019 BMW X5 is all about Sheer Driving Pleasure.
