The Honda HR-V RS now has a Black interior, as announced by Honda Malaysia. The RS HR-V is the top-flight variant of the line-up and from customers’ feedbacks, its been gifted a plush interior with black trimmings. The black interior replaces the Ivory interior and it’s only valid the RS version.
The black is utilized on the center console, front panel, driver and passenger seat (front and rear) as well as door panel lining.
The HR-V has been one of the best-selling model for Honda Malaysia, with 12,200 bookings in just four months since it came out. Honda has delivered 7,000 units since the refreshed model was announced in January this year. The RS version took up 20% of the total sales of this mode, plus the HR-V has an 88% market share in the compact SUV category.
The HR-V RS comes with a 1.8l SOHC i-VTEC engine with CVT. It is also equipped with Variable Gear Ratio (VGR) steering system. With the black interior, the RS HR-V comes full circle as a sporty SUV, along with the standard 18-inch dual-tone wheels, sleek front grille and all-black front and rear bumpers.
Moving inside, the HR-V RS has a multi-utility cargo space and plenty of new tech like multi-angle rear view camera, 8-Way driver seat and full leather seats.
Keeping things safe, the HR-V has LaneWatch camera), Cruise Control with paddle shift, 6 Airbags, Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), VSA, Hill Start Assist (HSA) and ISOFIX.
The HR-V comes in 5 colors: Passion Red Pearl (E, V and RS), Modern Steel Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, Ruse Black Metallic and White Orchid Pearl.
