Set for debut at the 2020 Geneva International Motor Show, the next-generation Kia Sorento is all about refined boldness inside and out. The previous Sorento is deemed a little too excessive in everyway so the designers at Kia took heart and reworked the aesthetics and more.
The 2020 Kia Sorento has sharper lines and uninterrupted surfaces, making it noticeable more sculpted than its more round-edged predecessor. All the design essentials are there: the tiger nose grille, wrapped-around headlights with tiger eye LED DRLs, wraps around the front wings, shorter overhangs and longer wheelbase. This edition of the Sorento has new vertical rear lights. Further details will be available from March.
Inteiror-wise, Kia has made the interior of the New Sorento more ‘upscale’. Aside from a new layout, they’ve paired cutting-edge infotainment, practicality and premium-grade materials to appear more upscale, indefinitely. Roominess has always been one of the main traits of the Sorento. The dashboard and everywhere else have more metallic trims and wood-effect surfaces. The seats are decked out in leather and sit five more comfortably as ever.
In addition, the Sorento comes with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system incorporating an audio-visual navigation. It also comes with a new 12.3-inch high-resolution digital instrument cluster. And yes, let's not forget about the connectivity features and related tech.
On 3 March, all about the New Kia Sorento will be unveiled at the Geneva show.
